Pasta Stir-Fried with Mixed Vegetables in Oyster & Soy Sauce

A pasta dish made by stir-frying assorted vegetables in my favorite oyster sauce and soy sauce base.

Pasta Stir-Fried with Mixed Vegetables in Oyster & Soy Sauce

Ingredients

  • oyster sauce 1tbsp
  • Soy sauce 1tbsp
  • Garlic 5cloves
  • Pasta 1serving
  • Bok choy 2heads
  • Onion 0.5ea

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a boil in a pan, add salt and the pasta, and cook until al dente.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, prepare the vegetables: - Cut off the root end of the bok choy. - Slice the onion. - Mince or slice the garlic, depending on preference.
  3. Heat olive oil in another pan. Once hot, add the garlic and onion and sauté.
  4. When the pasta is fully cooked, drain it, reserving a small amount of pasta water (about 1–2 tablespoons).
  5. Add the sautéed vegetables to the pan with the pasta, then add oyster sauce and soy sauce in a 1:1 ratio.
  6. Add the bok choy to the pan and stir-fry everything together over high heat for 1–2 minutes.
